The insurance covers members who have not reached age 68 and meet the following requirements:

• You are paying contributions to a pension scheme with insurance covers. However, this does not apply to pension schemes subject to the rules on high savings pension schemes (P+, former DIP).
• You are subject to non-contributory cover.
• You are receiving retirement pension benefits without having been transferred to dormant membership.
• You have reached age 60 on transfer to dormant membership.
