    As part of our preventive health initiatives, paying members of P+ have free access to easy and quick online consultations. 

    Online doctor is intended to, along with online psychologist, give the members the opportunity of responding to both mental and physical disabilities before they get too severe.

    An easy and secure everyday life with online doctor
    The online doctor makes it easy when you and your family needs help. The online doctor also covers your spouse or cohabitant and children living at home. 

    The online doctor can give medical advice, write prescriptions and make referrals to other treatment. You can make use of online doctor during the weekend if you have problems getting through to your own GP, do not have the time or are travelling. This provides security for you and your family - both in your everyday life and on vacations. 

    Short waiting time, long opening hours – all year round
    Online doctor is open every day, all year round. And the waiting time is generally only a few minutes.

    Weekdays from 08:00am - 10:00pm 
    Weekends and public holidays from 08:00am - 06:00pm 

    Online doctor is offered in cooperation with the healthcare app Hejdoktor.dk

    Get started, it only takes 2 minutes!
    1. Download the app Hejdoktor.dk from App store or Google Play
    2. Log on with your NemID.
    3. Press 'Profil' and the menu item 'Abonnement'.
    4. Choose 'P+ Pension' on this list and press 'Tilmeld'.
    5. Write the code P+2022.
    6. You are now ready to use online doctor.

    P+ also offers online psychologist
    A good mental health is decisive for your well-being, but academics are increasingly struggling with stress and discontent. Accordingly, P+ has increased its health offers by online psychology. Read more here

    Online doctor is offered in cooperation with the healthcare app Hejdoktor.dk which is Denmark's leading provider of online medical services. Since 2015, Hejdoktor.dk has completed more than 450,000 digital consultations. All doctors with Hejdoktor.dk have a Danish authorisation and are general medicine practitioners with many years of experience from the Danish healthcare system. 

    Yes. All internet traffic on Hejdoktor.dk is encrypted and complies with the Danish Health Authorities' requirements and rules on storage of sensitive personal data and medical charts. You can read more about Hejdoktor's safety policy here. P+ has only access to anonymised data for the complete membership base and solely for statistical purposes. 

    Yes. All online doctors with Hejdoktor have a Danish authorisation and are general medicine practitioners with many years of experience from the Danish healthcare system. 

    It is only the doctors with Hejdoktor who have access to your medical chart. 

    Yes. In order for you to get the best possible medical advice, your own GP must know how the online doctor has helped out. However, you do have the possibility of insisting on that the information is not passed on to your GP. 

    Yes, the online doctor covers you, a cohabitant and all the children of the household. Possible children under age 18 are signed in on your profile, while a possible cohabitant and children over age 18 are invited to their own profile. 

    The online doctor can renew most prescriptions - except from prescriptions for addictive and potentially addictive medications. The online doctor always complies with the Danish Society for Patient Safety's rules in this area.

    Yes, you can contact the online doctor from abroad. This way you can always get in contact with a Danish speaking doctor if you or your family get ill when abroad. 

    In the event of an urgent life-threatening medical condition you should dial 112 immediately. In the event of an urgent non-life-threatening condition you should contact the doctor from the emergency service or 1813.

    P+ does not offer technical support in relation to the use of online doctor and the Hejdoktor app. In case of a crash, technical errors or non-medical questions you must contact Hejdoktor's support team directly on kontakt@Hejdoktor.dk

    The support is open Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 12:00am. 

    Hejdoktor is tested in the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. If you use a mobile or a tablet, you can download the app for iPhone/iPad or Android

    With the offer for online doctor and psychologist we aim at increasing our members' general awareness of health and well-being and provide measures to remedy e.g. illness and stress. 

     

    The background is that we unfortunately witness that more and more academics are on long-term sick leave with both physical and mental conditions. And even to the extent that we experience an increase in the number of members applying for disability pension. 

     

    First and foremost, being forced to retire due to a health issue has substantial human consequences. But it is also expensive for the community in a collective insurance scheme when the costs related to payment of more disability pensions increase. 

     

    Accordingly, we try to proactively rise to the challenge - i.a. by way of offering online doctor and psychologist. 

     

    P+'s offer for online doctor and psychologist is a supplement to the publich healthcare system where we focus on prevention and rehabilitation to help the members return to their everyday life. 

     

    Compared to the considerable costs for disability pensions, the costs related to the health offers are relatively modest which in the end may contribute to keeping down the costs for the community in P+.
